REGISTRATION
In order to be qualified to vote in the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside’s Primary Election, scheduled for July 30, 2024, you must be registered to vote by July 1, 2024. You will need to re-register if you have changed your name, your residential address, or you wish to change your party affiliation.
Registration forms may be obtained at the Town Clerk’s Office, 325 W. White Mountain Blvd., Lakeside, AZ 85929. You may also contact Navajo County Voter Registration at (928) 524-4192 or Toll Free (800) 668-3867 if you have any questions or to determine if your information is current.
Para calificar y ejercer su derecho al voto en las Elección Primaria de la Ciudad de Pinetop-Lakeside que se llevarán acabo el día 30 de Julio, 2024, usted debe estar registrado para votar a mas tardar el día 1 de Julio, 2024. Tendrá que volver a registrarse si ha cambiado de nombre, domicilio o si desea cambiar su partido de afiliación.
El formato para registrarse puede obtenerse en la Secretaría del Ayuntamiento localizada en el 325 W. White Mountain Blvd., Lakeside, AZ 85929. Puede también contactar a la oficina de registro electoral del Condado Navajo al teléfono (928) 524-4192 ó al 1(800) 668-3867 si tiene preguntas o para verificar que su información esté actualizada y correcta.
EARLY VOTING
Starting July 3, 2024, early voting for the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside Primary Election, scheduled for July 30, 2024, is available to all qualified electors. Early voting on-site will be available at Navajo County Recorder’s Office, 100 E. Code Talkers Drive, South Highway 77, Holbrook AZ 86025.
To make a request for an early voting ballot to be mailed, a voter must make a request with Navajo County at the following website:
http://www.navajocountyaz.gov/Departments/Elections/Voter-Information/Early-Voting-Ballot-Request or call Navajo County Recorder’s Office (928) 524-4192. If a voter has registered through Navajo County Recorder’s Office for “Permanent Early Voting,” they do not need to make another request; an early voting ballot will automatically be mailed. The cut-off date for requesting an early ballot to be mailed is July 19, 2024, and the last day to vote an early ballot (in person at County offices) is July 26, 2024.
WRITE-IN CANDIDATES
Write-in candidates are allowed at the primary election for the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside. A.R.S. §16-312 requires that any person wishing to become a write-in candidate for the Primary Election needs to file a Nomination Paper and Financial Disclosure Statement by June 20, 2024, 5:00 p.m., at the Pinetop-Lakeside Town Clerk’s Office, 325 W. White Mountain Blvd., Lakeside. These required forms are available by contacting the Pinetop-Lakeside Town Clerk at 928-368-8696 Ext. 221.
Candidatos por escrito son permitidos tanto en la primaria como en elecciones generales para la Ciudad de Pinetop-Lakeside. A.R.S. §16-312 requiere que cualquier persona que desea hacerse candidato por escrito, por la Elección Primaria, tenga que archivar un documento de nominación y informes de divulgación financiera para el 20 de Junio del 2024, a las 5:00 p.m., en la Oficina del secretaria de la Ciudad de Pinetop-Lakeside, 325 W.
