The Community Development Department of the Town of Pinetop-Lakeside is currently looking for individuals willing to serve on the Planning and Zoning Commission, which is responsible for making recommendations to the Town Council on matters related to the General Plan, Zoning Ordinances, and Subdivision Regulations. The Planning and Zoning Commission also reviews and approves Conditional Use Permits, Zone Changes, Site Plans, and functions as the Design Review Board.
The Commission will have (3) vacancies with a term to start July 24, 2022 and ending July 24, 2025. Vacancies will be recommended by the Planning and Zoning Commission to the Town Council for approval. Vacancies are open until filled.

The Planning and Zoning commission is in charge of planning and regulating growth and development within the Town. Its members are appointed by the Town Council, and make recommendations to them related to the creation and boundaries of zoning districts, appropriate zoning regulations and amendments, and the official Town Zoning Map.
