Apply for a New Business License
We would like to thank you for coming to the Town of Pinetop/Lakeside to open your business; we’re glad you’re here! We want you to be successful and hope that you will let us help you.
To apply for a business license, you’ll need:
- Application Form (Online or Paper)
- Copy of your State Transaction Privilege Tax License (if applicable)
- Proof of identification (in accordance with A.R.S. Section 41-1080)
Please note that all business signs in Pinetop/Lakeside require a permit.
Renew an Existing License
All business license are renewed in June and July of each year. On June 1st of each year you will recieve an e-mail invitation to renew your business license online. If you are unsure that we have the correct e-mail address please contact us to update your information.

Business licenses must be renewed on July 1st of each year; the application fee is $50. To pay it, you have two options:
Make payable to Town of Pinetop/Lakeside; you can pay in person at Town Hall, or mail it to:

If you mail your payment, please make sure to indicate which business’ license you are paying for.
